Parsons has been awarded a potential $16 million contract with Canada’s public works and government services agency to manage the construction of infrastructure upgrade and repair work for the Giant Mine in Yellowknife.
The company will oversee work to demolish the mine shaft, build the pit buttress and upgrade sitewide power, Parsons said Wednesday.
The contract contains a one-year base period and three option years.
