Sotera Defense Solutions has helped the Apache Software Foundation in the development, maintenance and documentation of the Apache NiFi Open Source Project as part of the Apache Incubator program.
Sotera said Wednesday it has also provided project management, systems engineering and training support since the project was still in the initial closed-source stage.
The Apache NiFi system manages data flows with a Web-based user interface and features configurability, data provenance and security functions.
Sotera noted that it will provide integration and consulting support to the project as it progresses.
