KBR to Repair, Maintain US Navy Base in Africa; Stuart Bradie Comments

KBR Inc. has won a five-year,Â $50 million contract to renovate, repair and maintain the U.S. Navy‘s base in Africa.

TheÂ Naval Facilities Engineering Command awarded theÂ indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity job order to KBRÂ to support the Defense Department‘sÂ activities in Djibouti, Africa, KBR said Friday.

â€œKBRâ€™s prior success working in Djibouti has led to the award of this contract,â€ said Stuart Bradie, KBR president and CEO.

â€œWe have successfully delivered on projects in harsh, complex environments in which the military has served and this project is no different,”Â Bradie added.
