MACH37 has kicked off the application process for its accelerator program for information security startup businesses.

The MACH37 Cyber Accelerator’s 90-day Spring 2015 Cohort will begin on March 2, 2015, MACH37 said Tuesday.

Cyber startups will undergo a mentorship program on how to create and sustain a business and receive a $50,000 investment to market their security products, the company says.

“We are positioning these companies and Virginia to take advantage of the growing cybersecurity market,” said Rick Gordon, MACH37 managing partner.

Each applicant startup must have a team of two to four members.

MACH37 will announce the selections in February after an evaluation of applicants in January.
