Harris Corp. has delivered the first Falcon III RF-330E-TR production units to a Defense Department customer as part of its programs for handheld, manpack and small form factor radios.

The company said Thursday the RF-330E-TR is a wideband team radio used for tactical communications in theater with functions to monitor radio status and network availability.

It is compliant with DoD’s Rifleman Radio program, the National Security Agency certification for Type-1 information security, the Joint Interoperability Test Command certification for interoperability and the Joint Tactical Radio System Test and Evaluation Laboratory certification for software communications architecture.
