Atlantic Media’s Government Executive Media Group has turned to former Executive Mosaic Senior News Editor Camille Tuutti as the new executive editor for NextGov, its marquee publication on the government technology industry.
Tuutti was a major contributor to Executive Mosaic’s GovCon Exec Magazine and directed coverage across its online media portfolio, covering the intersection of technology, government and private industry.
The subsequent Federal Computer Week writer and editor helped further entrench Executive Mosaic at the forefront of the trends and executive activity driving the GovCon industry forward, Executive Mosaic Publisher Jim Garrettson said this week.
“We wish her our best in this new endeavor,” Garrettson added.
Tuutti would go on to help lead editorial direction and news coverage at FedScoop, where she regularly spoke with leaders in the IT community and “contributed in-depth studies of government reform and digital government,” Atlantic said
At NextGov, Tuutti will focus on the “art of the possible,” the company added, noting that she will provide editorial leadership for NextGov Prime, which will focus on “Embracing Gov2020.”
“I am excited to… be part of (NextGov’s) mission to provide I.T. leaders with the ideas, trends and insights they need to design the government of the future,” Tutti said.
