Army Posts RFI on Software Factory Capabilities

Request for Information

The U.S. Army is seeking information on the capabilities of prospective contractors to help with the initiatives of an Army Futures Command unit responsible for training soldiers to become proficient in software development.

In a request for information notice on SAM.gov posted Friday, the Department of Defense arm listed specific technical areas where it sought capability statements in support of the Army Software Factory.

The Army is soliciting input from interested parties for work focused on soldier enablement in modern software development practices, prototyping diverse hybrid cloud hosting technologies and cybersecurity services.

The RFI is solely for market research and intelligence. Responses to the sources sought notice are due Nov. 22.
