Former FBI Tech Exec John Dvorak Appointed CTO at VariQ

John Dvorak, a 25-year information technology leadership veteran, has joined VariQ as chief technology officer.

He will help address client mission standards, foster partner relationships and expand core services in his new role, the company said Tuesday.

Prior to his appointment, Dvorak worked as a technology executive at the FBI and the National Institutes of Health. He also served as chief information officer at Salient CRGT.

“John is a dynamic future-focused leader whose contributions will further enable VariQ to provide relevant, mission-critical services to our federal and local government clients across our business portfolio,” said Ben Edson, founder and CEO at VariQ.

VariQ is a Maryland-based provider of cybersecurity, software development and enterprise IT services to commercial and government clients.
