Mercury Systems has introduced a digitization transceiver designed to support electronic warfare operations and address electromagnetic threats.

The DCM6112 transceiver features a modular architecture and semiconductor components intended to maximize bandwidth and reduce latency in data processing, Mercury said Thursday.

The product also has four 12-bit analog-to-digital converter and digital-to-analog channels that can support real-time processing functions and application-specific algorithms.

Neal Austin, vice president and general manager of the embedded sensor processing group at Mercury, said the transceiver’s open architecture and multichannel features are intended to help warfighters quickly detect enemy radar transmissions.
