Daryl Eckard, formerly vice president at GovernmentCIO, has been appointed senior director at Gartner, G2XChange ETC reported Wednesday.
Prior to GovernmentCIO, the 30-year information technology and cybersecurity veteran held a managerial role at PwC and served as a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton for seven years.
He also spent 21 years at Electronic Data Systems as director.
Eckard obtained his bachelor’s degree at Shepherd University and is an accredited project management professional and information security manager.
