Noel Heiks Named to Emcore’s Board of Directors

Noel Heiks, formerly president and chief operating officer at Duos Technologies, has joined Emcore’s board of directors.

Prior to her appointment, Heiks held the role of interim CEO at MVTRAK and led Nuvotronics for eight years as founder and CEO, Emcore said Friday.

She also founded Haleos and worked as its vice president prior to its acquisition by Rohm & Haas.

“Noel’s significant experience managing high growth defense and optoelectronics companies positions her well to make valuable contributions to EMCORE and our Board of Directors,” said Gerald Fine, chairman of the board at Emcore.

Heiks owns 30 awarded and pending patents and is an alumna of Virginia Tech University.
