Cubic’s mission solutions business has released a small, ruggedized data management tool designed to meet European and international military standards.

M3-SE-CE-SKIT works to help deployed users handle data in hostile environments, the company said Thursday.

The tool is designed to meet various internationally-observed standards such as European Conformity, Restriction of Hazardous Substances and MIL-STD-461F. Users may employ the DTECH DVICE software to set the system up for missions.

Mike Barthlow, senior vice president and general manager of rugged internet of things at Cubic Mission Solutions, said the system helps customers deliver scalability and rapid deployment around the world.
