Floor Tech America will design, renovate and repair commercial and institutional buildings at Naval Base Ventura County in California under a potential five-year, $49M contract from the U.S. Navy.

The company may work on administration buildings, maintenance or repair facilities, aircraft control towers, hangars, fire stations, office buildings, laboratories and dining facilities, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Each project under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will be assigned though design-bid-build or minimal design effort task orders.

Work will take place in Port Hueneme and Point Mugu through May 2024.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest received 11 proposals for the IDIQ via the Navy's Electronic Commerce Online portal.
