Four Firms to Lease Dredging Equipment Under Army Contract

Four companies have won spots on a three-year, $45M contract to lease hydraulic pipeline dredges and cutterheads for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Contractors will provide equipment fully operated with attendant plant and personnel to perform construction and maintenance dredging efforts as part of the firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

USACE will determine funding and location details with each order. Work is slated to conclude by April 2, 2022.

  • Inland Dredging
  • Great Lakes Dredge & Dock
  • Weeks Marine
