The Department of Defense has selected Guidehouse to participate in a pilot program that aims to help DOD and industry professionals to share procurement strategies.

Guidehouse said Tuesday it will host a civilian employee from the U.S. Marine Corps while a company manager will work for the U.S. Army's Deputy for Acquisition and Systems Management as part of the Defense-Industry Talent Exchange Pilot Program.

“We are proud to be a part of this exciting initiative that brings together a greater understanding of business operations between military and commercial sectors,” said Scott McIntyre, CEO of Guidehouse and a 2019 Wash100 winner.

Jose Gonzalez, executive director of human capital initiatives at DoD, said the department established the program to comply with Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan’s guidance on a congressionally mandated public-private employee exchange authority.
