Leidos plans to consolidate its two facilities in Monongalia County, W. Va., into a new technology center that will be established at Westridge business park, WV News reported Monday.

The company is scheduled to open the Agile Center of Excellence within a year and expects to accommodate approximately 250 people there.

Drew Formica, site manager at Leidos, said he sees high-technology opportunities in the state where the company has maintained a presence for two decades.

The Herndon, Va.-based contractor supports various government operations in the region.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration $100 million task order awarded the company a five-year, last month to help secure the agency’s cyber and enterprise operations.

Leidos also received a 10-year, $364.7M contract in June to support research efforts at the Department of Energy‘s National Energy Technology Laboratory.
