The U.S. Air Force is preparing to start a formal solicitation for information technology and telecommunications services needed to address the military service’s operational requirements in the National Capital Region.

A FedBizOpps notice posted Monday says a chosen contractor must complete the 844th Communications Group’s assigned strategic and daily operational priorities in coordination with government work centers.

Key support areas listed in the draft request for proposals are program management; plans, projects and engineering; cybersecurity; enterprise IT operations; and National Military Command Center support services.

The Air Force will accept industry feedback until Oct. 5.
