Applied DNA Sciences has received a potential three-year contract to continue to support the Defense Logistics Agency‘s counterfeit prevention efforts.

The company said Tuesday it will also help DLA verify products and test programs that involve FSC 5962 microcircuits.

“We appreciate the DLA’s continuing support of our taggant technology platform in extending this contract for the marking of system-critical microcircuits,” stated Janice Meraglia, vice president of government and military programs at Applied DNA.

The contract has a two-year base period and work could further extend for an additional year if the option is exercised.
