The U.S. Army has awarded AECOM a five-year, $27 million contract to provide architect-engineer remediation services for military munitions and hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste.

Fourteen bids were submitted to the Army Contracting Command for the project slated for completion by July 26, 2023, the Defense Department said Friday.

Leidos received a separate five-year, $27 million contract earlier this month to also support the service branch’s remediation efforts.
