Modern Technology Solutions Inc. has secured a contract to provide technical and management support for the U.S. Air Force‘s efforts to acquire aircraft systems and subsystems.

MTSI said Tuesday it will help the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center address its objectives to study, develop, test and field new aeronautical platforms at the early stages of the acquisition lifecycle.

Work will occur at Wright Patterson AF Base in Ohio and various locations within the continental U.S. through the contract.

The company will also support research and development efforts that aim to explore new technology platforms, transition laboratory technologies and deploy new systems for the warfighter.

Other efforts include operational concept exploration, architecture development and maturation and risk reduction.
