CA Technologies has become a member of the executive board at the InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards.
INCITS’ executive board works to develop standards for emerging technology such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and internet of things, CA said Thursday.
The board also creates technology standards on storage, processing, transfer, display, retrieval and the management organization of information.
CA helps coordinate international open standards bodies and open source communities through membership with associations that include the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards.
The company, as a member of the OASIS board of directors, supported the development of OASIS Open Projects initiative that seeks to maintain synergy between open standards organizations and open source communities.
