Andrew Lewis, formerly group finance director at Avon Rubber, has been appointed to the same role at U.K.-based technology products and services provider Chemring Group  effective Jan. 9, 2017.

Chemring said Dec. 13 Lewis will succeed Andrew Davies, who has served as the company’s interim finance director over the past two months, and will also join the board of directors by Jan. 19.

“Andrew’s experience and drive will benefit the Group as we seek to progress our operational and financial performance,” said Chemring Chaiman Carl-Peter Forster.

Lewis also holds experience in organic earnings growth, cash generation and M&A activities.

He previously led Avon Rubber as interim CEO and held positions at PwC and Rotork.
