Women of Color magazine has recognized the leadership and work of 10 Mitre employees during the publication’s STEM Conference that was held from Oct. 15 to 17 in Detroit.
Mitre said Tuesday the conference acknowledges contributions of female professionals in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.
The 10 awardees from Mitre “have not only achieved technical and workplace excellence that has a high impact on the work we do with our government sponsors but also are dedicated to developing the next generation of STEM professionals,” said Julie Gravallese, a vice president and chief human resource officer of Mitre.
Aparna Durvasula and Anuja Verma accepted the Technology All-Stars awards while April Berrian, Jun Feng, Rosie Pridemore, Rajani Shenoy and Alanna Williams received honors in the Technology Rising Star category.
The magazine also presented Special Recognition Awards to Lisa Mitchell, Cynthia Taylor Small and Elaine Ward.
