Frazer Lockhart, vice president for waste operations at the Stoller Newport News Nuclear subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries, has received an appointment to the Energy Department‘s environmental management advisory board.
HII said Friday Lockhart will join 14 other advisory board members who will provide recommendations on relevant corporate matters to the assistant secretary of environmental management at DOE.
“I hope to use my experience in project management and acquisition to provide meaningful assistance to the [DOE] leadership,” Lockhart said.
The board’s work will focus on risk reduction and site cleanup concerns in the private sector, HII noted.
SN3 is a nuclear operations and environmental services firm based in Broomfield, Colorado.
