LCryptzoneeo Taddeo, formerly a special agent at the FBI’s New York Office in charge of special operations, has joined Cryptzone as chief security officer.

He will oversee the company’s efforts to analyze the cybersecurity market, Cryptzone said Monday.

“His extensive industry knowledge gives customers an advantage, as Cryptzone enables them to determine how to protect critical services, applications and content from internal and external threats,” said Kurt Mueffelmann, president and CEO of Cryptzone.

He also supervised a joint FBI/New York City Police Department Joint Terrorism Task Force.
