Mick Jaggers: Northrop Wins Roche Sustainment Award for Third Consecutive Year

northrop-Grumman_BLUENorthrop Grumman Corp. has won a sustainment award for the company’s Global Hawk unmanned aircraft program from the U.S. Air Force for the third year in a row.

The Dr. James G. Roche Sustainment Excellence Award is granted to the RQ-4 Global Hawk based on the program’s performance in aircraft maintenance and logistics readiness, Northrop Grumman said Monday.

“Winning the Roche award for the third year in a row is an incredible achievement for the Air Force life cycle management center,” said Mick Jaggers, Global Hawk program director at Northrop Grumman.

Air Force officials measures improvements from preset metrics that impact performance in selecting the winner.

The award is named after James Roche, a former secretary of the Air Force.
