Intel Security company McAfee has awarded Govplace the Federal Solution Provider of the Year Award to recognize the information technology service delivery company’s three-digit growth in 2014.
Reston-based Govplace, which uses McAfee technology to provide cybersecurity packages to its clients, said Monday it registered revenue gains, up 250 percent from year-ago figures.
Govplace’s work includes its role as security products subcontractor to Knowledge Consulting Group’s continuous diagnostics and mitigation project for the Department of Homeland Security.
“Having great partners helps us meet our mission of providing the best possible security to the federal government,†said Ken Kartsen, vice president of federal for McAfee.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Govplace and look forward to working together as their innovative cybersecurity practice continues to grow.â€
