Robert Hale, formerly comptroller and chief financial officer of the Defense Department, has joined Booz Allen Hamilton as fellow and senior executive adviser.
Hale most recently served as the principal adviser on budgetary and fiscal matters to three defense secretaries, Booz Allen said Monday.
“Bob Hale possesses all of the outstanding professional credentials, national and international stature, and the differentiating capabilities that we seek in a fellow,” said Jack Mayer, an executive vice president at Booz Allen.
Hale held responsibility in financial policy and financial management systems in his comptroller role at the Pentagon.
Hale served as executive director of the American Society of Military Comptrollers, where he led the certification and training programs, before he joined the DoD.
He was also the assistant secretary for the U.S. Air Force from 1994 to 2001.
