Richard Hamilton, formerly practice director for sales at Infor‘s public sector, has been named business development executive at professional services firm GCR Inc.
He will work at GCR office in Los Angeles and support company’s programs geared toward helping government clients to address disaster management issues through the use of technology, GCR said Monday.
Hamilton founded a consulting firm and held sales and operational roles at ACS Inc., Xerox and Lockheed Martin.
He also served as a political consultant, as a police reserve officer and as an emergency medical technician within the state of California over a 27-year period.
He holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from National University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from University of California, San Diego.
