Level 3 Communications has achieved ISO 9001 certification for quality management at three of its data centers in Brazil.
TUV Rheinland and the Argentine Accreditation Body performed the audits on the three facilities located in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Curitiba, including a review of their processes, operations and management systems, Level 3 said Wednesday.
The certification, valid for three years, attests to the company’s products on offer in Latin America, said Leonardo Barbero, Level 3 senior vice president and chief marketing officer in the region.
“With this third-party seal of approval, customers have the assurance Level 3 is focused on providing quality products and continually improving its services,†he added.
L-3 has earned the standard to four of its other data centers in Argentina.
