Cubic Defense Segment Awarded Marine Training Support Contract

Cubic‘s global defense segment has received an $11.6 million contract to provide training systems support for U.S. Marine Corps‘ air-ground task force.

The Defense Department said Thursday MTSS will utilize a computer-based simulation platform designed to train Marines in the command, control, computers, communications, intelligence, surveillance, staff training and reconnaissance areas.

DoD added the program will also cover MAGTF tactical warfare training and employ a virtual environment for deployment within and outside continental U.S.

The Marine Corps Systems Command obligated the full contract amount at the time of award.

Cubic Global Defense will perform work in Virginia, California, North Carolina and Japan through April 2018.
