AT&T to Update Military Network Infrastructure in Hawaii Under DISA Contract; Anthony Robbins Comments

AT&T has received a 10-year contract with an undisclosed amount from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide a communications network that will serve to support military operations in the Pacific region.

The company said Wednesday it will help update DISA’s network infrastructure in Hawaii in efforts to facilitate the secure transmission of voice, video and data to supplement the mission of service personnel.

Anthony Robbins, vice president for defense at AT&T’s global public sector business, said the company will work to drive mission effectiveness for military in the Pacific region as part of its vision of a “network for the future” for DISA.

AT&T added it will provide network management services to DISA over the 10-year term of the contract.
