American Systems to Provide Engineering Services to DoD’s Developmental, Test & Evaluation Org

AmericanSystemsAmerican Systems will provide warfare area staff specialists to the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Developmental Test and Evaluation under a $5.7 million contract from the Washington Headquarters Services.

The Defense Department said Thursday American Systems will perform professional engineering services in support of the Major Defense Acquisition Program/Major Automated Information System initiatives.

Work will occur in Arlington and Alexandria, Virginia through Aug. 31, 2021.

The Washington Headquarters Services obligated funds from its fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation budget at the time of award.

With the new award, American Systems’ contract to support DoD DT&E has reached nearly $10 million in value.
