AECOM Subsidiary to Continue Navy Submarine C5I Enterprise Systems Support

submarine boat navy sea oceanAn AECOM subsidiary has received a nine-month, $24.7 million contract modification to support the U.S. Navy‘s submarine command, control, communications, computers, collaboration and intelligence enterprise infrastructure.

The Defense Department said Wednesday URS Federal Services will continue to provide test, evaluation, engineering, technical, logistics and management services for submarine C5I system-of-systems and subsystems as well as operation authority, shore nuclear C3 systems.

The contract also includes certification, modernization, repair and logistics assistance for the combat, electronic and support systems of all submarine classes.

DoD noted the modification brings the ceiling value of URS Federal Services’ contract to $129.4 million and the  Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic will obligate funds based on task orders.

Contract work will occur in Virginia, Connecticut, California, South Carolina and Hawaii through April 2017.
