Saab Lands CBRN Test Kit Supply Contract in Sweden; Nils-Erik Lindblom Comments

Saab LogoSaab will supply chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear agent test kits to a government agency in Sweden that oversees disaster prevention efforts under a procurement agreement.

Nils-Erik Lindblom, director of marketing and sales for CBRN at Saab, said Wednesday it will deliver a total of 27 CBRN test kits, test equipment and related consumables to the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency.

The contract also covers early warning support, CBRN integration  and evaluation assistance, transport packaging, automatic warning and reporting tools and training support.

Saab said it will begin deliveries in September.

Saab’s CBRN test equipment contains over 300 forensic sampling items for CBRN agents.
