Army Selects 3 Companies for Medical Equipment Supply Contract

The U.S. Army has awarded positions on a multi-year,Â $49.4 million contract toÂ TQM Inc.,Â Lighthouse for the BlindÂ and MSGI Corp. to deliverÂ a wide range of medical and laboratory equipment to Army medical units.

The Defense Department said MondayÂ theÂ indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract also includesÂ surgical, dental, pharmaceutical andÂ veterinary equipment as well as materiel sets forÂ nonmedical and medical support programs of the Army.

The base period is slated to run through May 4, 2017.

The Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity awarded the contract positions followingÂ an online solicitation with four proposals received, DoD noted.
