Army Selects 3 Companies for Medical Equipment Supply Contract

medical-health-doctorThe U.S. Army has awarded positions on a multi-year, $49.4 million contract to TQM Inc., Lighthouse for the Blind and MSGI Corp. to deliver a wide range of medical and laboratory equipment to Army medical units.

The Defense Department said Monday the indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract also includes surgical, dental, pharmaceutical and veterinary equipment as well as materiel sets for nonmedical and medical support programs of the Army.

The base period is slated to run through May 4, 2017.

The Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity awarded the contract positions following an online solicitation with four proposals received, DoD noted.
