Army Awards Compute, Application Services Contract to NetCentrics for JSP

Information TechnologyNetCentrics has been awarded a contract worth at least $50 million for compute and application services contract to the U.S. Army’s Joint Service Provider organization..

Haystax Technology, NetCentrics’ parent company, said Monday the firm fixed price contract includes one base year and two option years and will be performed at the Pentagon and in the Washington region.

Haystax said NetCentrics and its partners will support the JSP in its mission to provide, manage, operate and maintain information technology shared services for the Pentagon and some agencies and organizations in the region.

NetCentrics CEO Bob Dougherty noted the company has worked to deliver IT service for the Defense Department and agencies in the NCR since 1996.
