Tony Moraco, CEO of Science Applications International Corp., has said the company aims to capture opportunities in the growing market for Internet of Things-based products and services, Washington Technology reported Friday.

“We’re trying to look at it from two sides: how can that capability better an outcome—whether it be for people, society, the nation—so how do you leverage that technology for a better outcome,” Moraco was quoted as saying.

Mark Hoover writes Moraco told his audience at a Northern Virginia Technology Council-hosted breakfast event Friday that partnering with SAIC offers small businesses a chance to help address mission requirements of public-sector clients.

He noted the company is a prime contractor on approximately 90 percent of its contracts with the government.
