Erickson has been awarded a two-year contract with NATO’s support and procurement agency to continue the company’s aerial firefighting work for Greece’s national firefighting agency.
The company will produce three S64 Aircranes to suppress wildfire across all regions of Greece under the contract extension, Erickson said Wednesday.
“We are privileged to support NATO and the Hellenic Fire Department for the protection of people, property and natural resources of Greece,” said Andy Mills, Erickson vice president of commercial aviation services.
The contract contains an additional option year and begins May 2016.
