New Zealand-based ikeGPS will market its platforms to U.S. government clients through Carahsoft Technology’s GSA Schedule one year after the addition of New Zealand to the World Trade Organization’s Government Procurement Agreement.
The GPA allows ikeGPS to sell its products to all WTO member-countries and Carahsoft will act as a reseller of ikeGPS products in the U.S. government market, the companies said Wednesday.
New Zealand and Montenegro joined the WTO’s GPA in October 2014.
Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule will cover ikeGPS’ Spike, a laser-based platform that works to record and share measurements and location of an object using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
IkeGPS has also partnered with non-profit investment firm In-Q-Tel to further develop the Spike system for use in intelligence missions.
