Mitre and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore have opened two new centers in Singapore to facilitate development of platforms for air traffic management.
Mitre said Wednesday Josephine Teo, senior minister of state at the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Transport, presided the inauguration of Mitre Asia Pacific Singapore and the ATM Research Institute.
“We are proud to have partnered with CAAS to establish MAPS, our first laboratory outside of the U.S.,†said Lillian Ryals, a senior vice president at Mitre.
MAPS will serve as a research and development center that will work to develop new ATM-focused concepts and systems for use in Singapore and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.
