OpenText has received authorization from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to offer its cloud products and services to the government sector.

The company said Friday that its FedRAMP-authorized Cloud for Government offerings now include OpenText Extended ECM and OpenText AppWorks, which are designed to address government clients’ digital transformation and business optimization requirements.

Extended ECM works to manage the entire digital file and case management life cycle by integrating with enterprise applications, including the Microsoft 365 productivity software suite. AppWorks is a low-code development platform designed to build process automation and case management applications.

“As an important step in the government’s modernization journey, the solution extends the modern, cloud-optimized benefits of information management to federal agencies while adhering to ever-tightening and constantly changing security requirements,” said Muhi Majzoub, executive vice president and chief product officer at OpenText.

OpenText’s FedRAMP-certified cloud portfolio also includes the OpenText Fortify on Demand and OpenText IT Management Platform.
