SPA Earns Labor Department Recognition for Hiring Veterans; William Vantine Quoted

The Department of Labor has recognized Systems Planning and Analysis for the company’s employment of former U.S. military servicemen.

SPA said Friday it received a gold medal under the Labor Department’s Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans or HIRE Vets program.

The department bases its selection on criteria that companies must comply with every year to qualify for the award.

“We enthusiastically welcome veterans and their deep commitment to supporting our mission and national security customers,” said William Vantine, president and CEO of SPA.

The company provides mentorship and professional opportunities to help veterans pursue civilian careers.

SPA offers software development, systems engineering, program support and other technical services to national security customers.
