Infosys has partnered with Spirit AeroSystems to provide information technology integration services to support the Aerostructures and Aftermarket Services assets that the latter recently acquired from Bombardier.

The Indian IT consulting firm said Monday it will serve as an exclusive partner to Spirit and help the aerospace technology manufacturer implement cloud-based operations and leverage integrated infrastructure and applications.

Infosys also intends to use its Cobalt suite of cloud-based, enterprise-wide digital transformation tools to help achieve the partnership’s objectives.

Jasmeet Singh, executive vice president and global head of manufacturing at Infosys, said the company seeks to support Spirit’s goal of maximizing the acquisition through the build-out of infrastructure.

Infosys offers automation, cybersecurity, software development and blockchain services to support clients in the public and private sectors.

Spirit AeroSystems’ portfolio includes aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services as well as systems integration, assembly, fabrication and components support.
