Enlighten IT Consulting, an indirect subsidiary of Alion Science and Technology, has received U.S. Air Force recognition for a multi-domain operations data fusion tool. The information technology firm is among 30 recipients of the AFWERX Fusion Xperience award, Alion said Monday. Enlighten will further demonstrate its entry technology at an AFWERX event in September.

Enlighten entered its tool designed to fuse hundreds of distributed data types for multi-domain operations. The company combined commercial and government off-the-shelf technologies to produce the tool over a six-year development effort.

“Enlighten was thrilled to be part of the AFWERX Fusion Xperience Showcase and have the opportunity to demonstrate our solution that won first place in our category,” said John Eubank, senior director of data fusion solutions at Enlighten.
