Military electromechanical device manufacturer SRCTec has delivered the 400th counterfire radar system for U.S. Army personnel and allies to locate mortar, rocket and artillery threats.

Troops use the AN/TPQ-50 Lightweight Counter-Mortar Radar for early warning and threat location via LCMR's three-dimensional, 360-degree surveillance, SRCTec said Monday.

The company plans to add new engineers, managers, assemblers and technicians to its current 190-person workforce over the next year.
