LCR Embedded Systems has unveiled a suite of rugged chassis products designed to integrate with military aerospace and unmanned aerial vehicle platforms.

The company said Wednesday its 3U VPX chassis enclosures are designed to comply with the MIL-STD-810 environmental engineering and electromagnetic compatibility standards and support systems built to operate in harsh military environments.

The chassis features heat pipes, internal fans and enclosure walls with exchangers that allow heat dissipation, air circulation and operability under contaminated areas.

Dan Manoukian, CEO at LCR Embedded Systems, said the offering is built to address size, weight, power and cooling requirements.

All 3U VPX products have the same power supply units, components and framework and are available in five, six, seven and nine-slot variants.
