The U.S. Navy has released a request for proposals on a firm-fixed-price contract to build a helicopter training platform for undergraduate pilots.

The Navy said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Monday it looks for a contractor to replace the branch's current TH-57B/C aircraft fleet with 130 TH-XX helicopter units through a competitive full and open solicitation.

The single-award contract will have a base performance period and up to four options.

The RFP notice also includes government responses to industry questions in line with previous drafts of the solicitation.

Interested vendors have until April 2 to submit their proposals via email.
