The Marine Attack Training Squadron plans to issue a solicitation for an upcoming contract for organizational-level maintenance support work on the AV-8B Harrier strike aircraft.

Interested firms can view the request for proposals on the FedBizOpps website by Jan. 22., the U.S. Marine Corps said Thursday.

The government will evaluate offers using a “best value” procurement method.

AV-8B is a vertical and short takeoff-and-landing aircraft designed to help Marines conduct special combat and expeditionary missions.
