Marines Seek Contractor to Help Maintain Attack Aircraft

The Marine Attack Training Squadron plans to issue a solicitation for an upcoming contract for organizational-level maintenance support work on theÂ AV-8BÂ Harrier strike aircraft.

Interested firms can view the request for proposals on the FedBizOpps website by Jan. 22., the U.S. Marine Corps said Thursday.

The government will evaluate offers using a “best value” procurement method.

AV-8B is a vertical and short takeoff-and-landing aircraft designed to help Marines conductÂ special combat and expeditionary missions.
