The U.S. Army has issued a request for information on potential sources of delivery and production services for 120 mm M31 fin assemblies.

The military service also aims to validate the respondents’ capacity to deliver the components until the end of February, according to a FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday.

In addition, the potential contractor is required to manufacture 187.5K fins from Mar. 31 through Dec. 31, 2019.

Interested vendors have until Jan. 2 to submit their responses through email along with a production capability document of no less than five pages.

The M31 fin is an eight-bladed, two-piece assembly designed to balance and maintain 120mm mortar cartridges.
